The famous Georgian tkemali sauce is made from plums with the addition of herbs and spices. The sauce is mildly sour, very fresh. Its main feature is a pleasant aroma and a slightly spicy taste with pronounced acidity.
The early tkemali is made from green plums, so it's spicier than the classic! But incredibly tasty and tender!
Green tkemali goes well with new products: greens, new potatoes, lamb. Tkemali also goes well with freshly baked bread, young cheese.
(!) This sauce is prepared without the addition of thickeners, flavor enhancers and with a minimum amount of sugar.
