Hot weather across Europe - help your order arrive in perfect condition
Temperatures are unusually high across much of Europe right now. Our snacks - dried fruit, churchkhela, lokum and chocolate-coated treats - are natural and sensitive to heat. A few simple steps make sure your order reaches you fresh and in great shape.
Please collect your parcel promptly
The less time a parcel spends sitting in a hot vehicle, locker or doorstep, the better. When your tracking shows it is out for delivery or ready for pickup, try to receive or collect it the same day.
Answer the courier
Couriers often call or message before delivery. Picking up keeps your parcel moving and avoids it being left in the heat or returned to a depot.
When your order arrives
- Bring it indoors right away, out of direct sun.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from windows and heaters.
- Chocolate-coated items may soften in transit. A short time in the fridge restores them, and this is normal and does not affect quality.
- Dried fruit and lokum are best kept sealed once opened.
Heading away?
If you will not be home for a few days, consider timing your order so it does not wait in the heat, or choose a delivery address where someone can receive it.
